Alexa grew up with a passion for sports, the outdoors, and competition, which led her to pursue a career in physical therapy. She earned her BS in Kinesiology from Oregon State University, where she had the opportunity to teach adapted fitness to individuals with disabilities, which sparked her love for coaching movement and fitness. Before going back to PT school, she spent 4 years as a personal trainer, working with people of all ages and genders to get as strong as possible.
While she was pursuing her DPT at Tufts University, Alexa developed a strong interest in pelvic health after seeing the profound impact this care can have on quality of life. She went on to complete the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Health training, and is passionate about expanding access to these services. She has a particular focus on supporting LGBTQIA+ health, combining her background in coaching with specialized pelvic floor training to help people return to activities they love.
Outside of the clinic, Alexa enjoys spending time with her wife, Erynne and their dog, Finley. She loves watching WNBA basketball, reading a great book, lifting weights, hiking, biking, and getting outside to enjoy the PNW whenever possible.
