Doctor of Physical Therapy | Board-Certified Lymphedema Therapist
Dr. Caitlin Sears earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Oregon State University–Cascades in Bend, Oregon. She completed advanced, specialized training in lymphedema management through the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy and holds board certification from the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA). Established following the 1998 American Cancer Society Lymphedema Workshop, LANA certification distinguishes providers who meet the highest national standards of education, training, and clinical care in lymphedema treatment.
At Therapy Works Physical Therapy, Dr. Sears specializes in treating a wide range of conditions, including primary and secondary lymphedema, lipedema, and swelling caused by chronic venous insufficiency. She is extensively trained in Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT)—the gold-standard treatment for lymphedema—which includes manual lymphatic drainage, compression bandaging, compression garments, exercise, and skin and nail care.
Dr. Sears joined Therapy Works Physical Therapy in 2024 and takes pride in offering personalized, patient-focused care with treatment sessions tailored to each individual’s needs—even if that means spending extra time when necessary. She collaborates closely with patients, their caregivers, and family members to create a comprehensive care plan that supports long-term management and improved quality of life.
When she’s not treating patients you may find her on the golf course, trying a new restaurant, or at her favorite yoga studio
